About the Role

The Director, Commercial Partner Development will drive new business development, focusing on health plans and other key partners in adjacent value pools. The ideal candidate is a tenacious, strategic thinker who excels at building and expanding partnerships, has strong negotiation skills, and can cultivate relationships both externally and internally. This role requires operating with a high degree of autonomy, leading structured processes with clear milestones, timelines, and accountability to ensure seamless execution and results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to establish and expand partnerships across health plans and adjacent value pools
  • Lead contract negotiations and deal structuring to drive long-term value for the company
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, demonstrating deep industry expertise and persuasive selling skills
  • Create and implement a structured, process-driven approach to business development, ensuring clarity on objectives, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities to keep the company ahead of market shifts
  • Drive internal consensus-building and stakeholder alignment to advance Commercial objectives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership development within the healthcare industry or related sectors
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to structure complex deals that benefit both the company and its partners
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to build trust and influence decision-making
  • A process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to drive execution
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach, capable of anticipating challenges and developing solutions ahead of time
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare solutions development, consulting, or a similar field
  • Familiarity with partner performance management and scorecard development
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues for support

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000
